GARDEN 1: Haiku Elementary

Haiku Elementary has been an amazing model for our School Garden Network on Maui.  It is the first school to get a paid School Garden Coordinator- the amazing Jenna Tallman who is an absolute wealth of knowledge.  Seeds from Paris Nabiv have kept the garden going strong, as well as the support from Robin Immonte, CWD and Lehn Huff with the Maui School Garden Network.  This is also the first school to try out a Nutrition program taught by Jessica Quinn which takes the garden through the classroom and onto the plate in a delicious, nutritious and fun way.
